Sadaf Shallwani
Welcome to my website and blog!
I am a doctoral candidate at the Department of Human Development & Applied Psychology at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto (Canada).
I am interested in research, theory, and practice in a range of areas: early childhood development; early education (pre-primary and primary) – including the notion of ‘school readiness’; and human development in family, community, and wider social contexts. I am particularly interested in deconstructing and reconceptualizing mainstream notions of development and functioning.
I’ve started this website and blog as a means of communicating, sharing, and discussing issues in these areas.
Please join me in this journey of processing, creating, deconstructing, and recreating knowledge and action.
